Low Weng Tchung
Weng Tchung holds a First Class Master of Law degree from the University of Cambridge, with a specialisation in Commercial Law, and was the first recipient of the prestigious Tun Suffian Foundation Cambridge Scholarship. He also holds a First Class Bachelor of Law Degree from Oxford Brookes University, and is a Barrister-at-Law of the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple.
Weng Tchung has a broad and diverse practice, and is regularly instructed in commercial, corporate and telecommunication matters involving novel and complex legal issues.
Weng Tchung is the author of The Law of Restitution and Unjust Enrichment in Malaysia (2015), the first dedicated textbook on the law of restitution and unjust enrichment in Malaysia, which is regularly cited in the superior courts.
He was also a contributor and assistant editor to Sinnadurai, Law of Contract, 4th Edition (2011), the authoritative textbook on contract law in Malaysia.
Ng Seng Yi
Seng Yi was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2019. He is developing a broad dispute resolution and advisory practice encompassing the firm’s core areas of work, with a specific focus on commercial and telecommunications law. To that end, he has undertaken secondments with select clientele (including a major telecommunications company and a public-listed company), gaining first hand experience and insight into industry practice.
Seng Yi graduated with an upper second class Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Malaya, where he was a Kuok Foundation scholar and also the President of the University of Malaya Law Society. He was a participant in the Axiata Young CEO Development Programme.
Seng Yi has authored numerous articles and opinion pieces in legal journals and media publications, covering a wide spectrum of current legal issues. He is an avid sportsman, with a particular interest in badminton and running.
